The spit jack provides a mechanical means to rotating meat on a spit as it is roasted to ensure even cooking. Modern rotisseries are driven by an electrical motor, but I have designed my jack spit to be weight driven.

I’ve designed a trebuchet! I just haven’t built it yet.

Inspired by M.C. Escher, I drew up a rotating tesselation of a whale.

The whales fit together nicely!

After 3d printing a few whale templates I decided to cut one from bluestone.
